Origin Story
At Goody’s House, our story is one of resilience, compassion, and personal transformation. As a couple in recovery with 21 years of combined sobriety, We have walked the path of recovery and understand the challenges and victories that come with it. Our journey is not just about overcoming personal struggles but about using our experiences to uplift and support others in their own recovery journeys. The name chosen is in honor of my grandmother who had a her own story of alcoholism and domestic abuse with over 44 years of sobriety at time of her death December 25, 2018.
Our mission at Goody’s House is clear – to reach out to the community and provide a beacon of hope for individuals in need of support and recovery. Every step we take is guided by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Our Impact
Giving Back
As part of our commitment to giving back, we have launched the initiative to donate proceeds from the book “No Mother What” to our non-profit organization. Every contribution from the book goes towards furthering our mission of supporting individuals in their recovery journey and making a positive impact in the community.
